BOX BRAIDS USING HOT WATER TO CULY THEM
What is the meaning of the word hot water curls. Well this is a method that is used to curl your braids using hot water. You can create box braids all over your head with straight synthetic hair. You can all kinds of braids at your local beauty supply store. If you do not have a local beauty supply store in your area you can purchase bulk hair from the inter net. You also need some plastic rods for curling around the hair, some vaseline and a wig brush. This style is created with synthetic hair not human.
1. After you finish braiding your hair, you are now ready to curl the ends.
2. Take a plastic container that can fill water for about 2 cups. Take some of the vaseline and rub some on your braids.
3. You can either boil the water in the micro wave, or take a small pot and boil the water, then you would want to pour the hot water into the plastic container. Make sure that the water is not too hot that it would burn you. Make sure you have a towel on hand as well.
4. You need some plastic rods that are used to curl your hair.
5. Take a few braids about 3 to 4 at a time and curl the braids starting at the end and roll the hair around the plastic curling rods oh about half way up. Then take your hot water and dip the braids in, count to about 5 secs and then pull them out. Do this until you have all of the braids curled. After all the curls are rolled up, start taking the rollers off starting with the 1st braids. You will see that the braids are curly. They look good don’t they. Now you can style them in many ways. Lift them up in the back with a hair barrette holder, rubber band holders or just pull them back with a head band.
